1.UV-vis absorption, circular dichroism and photoluminescence spectroscopies can be used to analyze the photophysical properties of the peptides in the molecularly dissolved state as well as self-assembled state achieved in response to change in pH of solution.
2.Prepare solutions in Millipore water and adjust the concentration to obtain absorbance of ~0.1 absorbance units.
3.The molecularly dissolved state can be achieved by adding 10 μL of 1 M KOH solution to 3 mL peptide solution.
